She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Howard C. (Clark) Martin; a sister, Donna (Larry) Ball; sister-in-law, Virginia (Jack) Tarbill; brother-in-law, Don (Joyce) Martin; son, Robert (Sandra) Martin; and daughters, Susan (Dan) Stapleton, Lori (Doug) Bastian and Anita (Brent) Slade; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, James R. Maxson; her mother, Ruby Irene Garrison; a brother, James A. Maxson; and most recently her twin sister, Marol June Smith.
Mrs. Martin was an active member of the South Dayton Church of Christ and was the retired postmaster of Gratis, Ohio.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 20, from the Dalton Funeral Home, 6900 Weaver Road, (corner of Weaver Road and Ohio 4), Germantown, Ohio, with the Rev. John Brooks officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Gratis. The family received friends from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday at Dalton Funeral Home and from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the South Dayton Church of Christ, 300 S. Main St., Springboro, OH 45066.
