Surviving with his wife are one daughter, Gloria Jean Velpel of Land of the Lakes, FL; five sons: Dennis Ray Haste, David Wayne Haste, and Barry Dean Haste, all of Mitchell, IN; Randy Lee Haste of Pembroke Pines, FL, and James Conley Haste of Bedford, IN; two brothers, Tom Haste of Naples, FL, and William "Bill" Haste of Heltonville, IN; one sister, Faye McCorkle of Pinellas Park, FL; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Rickey Allen Haste; two brothers, Walter Haste and Troy Haste; and two sisters, Lois Henderson and Dortha Godbey.
He was a retired employee of GM Powertrain. He was a member of UAW Local 440 and attended Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Services for Conley Haste will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, November 12th, at Chastain Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Chenoweth officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery.
