AARON JEFFERSON PUGH was born on 3 January 1889 in Thomasville, Clarke County, Alabama, and he was the son of David Lee Pugh (1848 - 1899) and Sarah M. Compton (1852 - aft 1900).

Aaron married Sarah "Sallie" Lavonia Marion on 15 Apr 1908 in Sweetwater, Marengo County, Alabama, and they had SIX children of record:

Marion Jefferson Pugh (1909-1982),
James Morris Pugh (1910-1941);
Enon "Anie" Beatrice Pugh-King (1911-1995),
(Infant Son) Pugh (1913 - 1913),
Sarah Dean Pugh-Morrow (1917-2009), and
Robert Orval Pugh (1919-1999).

Aaron passed away on 4 June 1933, after falling from a bridge he was constructing in Luling, Caldwell County, Texas. He is buried at the Luling City Cemetery.
