Jack J. Drasbek, 77, of Poulsbo, Wash., died Sept. 28 at his home.
Mr. Drasbek was born in Portland, Ore. He had lived in the Modesto area for many years before moving to Washington. He served in the Army in both the European and Pacific theaters during World War II.
He received a bachelor of science degree in food technology from Oregon State College and worked for E.&J. Gallo Winery from 1958 until retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Institute of Food Technology, a professional member of the American Society of Enology and a state-registered professional quality engineer. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge.
