"Bill" Wilma Lucy Terry Bowden was born May 17, 1924 to parents Claud Washington Terry and Ida Philomena Gschwend Terry in Greene County, Arkansas.

She married Ather Elma Bowden in 1945 in Greene County, Arkansas.

"Bill" and Ather had four children: Tommy Bowden, Terry Don Bowden, Terry Bowden, and Annette Bowden of Arkansas.

"Bill" was survived by her husband Ather Bowden; brothers "Sonny" Paul Edward Terry of Phoenix, AZ and "Joe" Joseph Leon Terry of Fresno, CA; and sisters "Sis" Caroline Virginia Terry Dodge of Benton, Arkansas; Agnes Pauline Terry Pierceall of Benton, Arkansas, and "Mag" Anna Magdaline Terry Spence of Conway, Arkansas.

"Bill" was preceded in death by brother James Henry Terry of North Little Rock, Arkansas; and sisters Hubertina Terry, Helen Gertrude Terry, Mary Lucille Terry, Phylis Johana Terry, and Zetta Katherine Terry.
