Tammy Carlene Creech of Chickamauga died Thursday, April 16, 2009. She was 44. She was a loving mother to her children and a lifelong resident of North Georgia. She was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church and enjoyed being part of Celebrate Recovery, Vacation Bible School and Upward Sports. She was a graduate of the Northwestern Technical College LPN program and Chattanooga Valley High School class of 1983. Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Steven Creech; daughters, Mary Creech and Makayla Creech; son, Matt Creech; parents, Jimmy Ridley and Brenda Higdon; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tina and Glenn Simmons, Pansi and Clayton Massey, Sonya and Matt Bourgault; brother and sister-in-law, Wade and Pam Ridley; and several nieces and nephews. Services: Sunday, April 19, at 2 p.m. at Oakwood Baptist Church with Dr. Darrell Henry and student pastor Frank Kelley officiating. Burial: Chickamauga City Cemetery. Visitation: Friday, April 17, from 5-9 p.m., Saturday, April 18, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home, and Sunday, April 19, one hour prior to the service at the church.
