She married Jess Bibbs on Feb. 9, 1934 at Hartshorne and later married Lyman Maddux in Feb. 1966 at Ft. Smith. She worked at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary Women's Facility and retired from there. She was the mother of Jim and Neil Bibbs and Sharon Bibbs Strange. She was step-mother to Sammy Maddux, Mary Morgan and Sally Burger. She was sister to Irene Stevens of Hartshorne, Wanda Anderson of Levelland, TX, Leona Phelps of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Nadine Ward and Lela Ford of Bogata, TX, Buster McCullar of McCurtain, Carl MCullar of Wilburton and Dee McCuller of Sacramento, CA. She also had a brother and sister that preceded her in death, Cotton and Adine McCullar.
