Our little angel Sammuel "Sammy" Nathan Adair, 19 months, has gone to be with God's angels. Sammy was born September 22, 2007, in Farmington, and passed from this life on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, in Farmington. He was the beloved son of Johnathan Adair and Michelle (Polanco) Adair.
Beside Sammy's parents surviving him are his little sister, Alexiea Adair, of Farmington; grandparents, Connie and Henry Polanco, of Farmington; Diana Bauer and husband, Robert, of Farmington, and Johnnie Adair, of Bloomfield; great-grandmas, Audrey Adair, of Bloomfield, and Dorothy Lemons ,of Farmington; four aunts, one uncle, 10 cousins and many dear friends who loved Sammy very much.
Sammy was preceded in death by his grandpa Jose Polanco, great-grandma Diana Roberts, great-grandpa Curley Lemons and great-grandpa Don Killgore.
Sammy was a unique baby; he was always happy and if he wasn't it only took a little attention. He had fiery red hair and big bright blue eyes. Sammy loved to play outside. He loved puppies, balls, trucks and his favorite comfort thing was his blankets. Sammy really enjoyed playing with other kids and especially his cousins. He loved his little sister, Alexiea, but did not yet understand how to be gentle with her. Sammy was loved by all who met him and will always remain in our hearts.
A gathering of all of Sammy's family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 27, 2009, at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 East Ute St., in Farmington. The family has asked that all of Sammy's family and friends to please bring pictures, memories or anything that they would like to share and give to the family so that Michelle can later make a memory book to have in Sammy's memory.
A celebration of Sammy's life will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Crossroads Community Church of the Nazarene, 2600 N. Sullivan Ave., in Farmington, with Pastor Dave West officiating. Sammy will then be laid to rest at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Farmington. Pallbearers are Sammy's grandfathers, Johnnie Adair and Enrique Polanco, his dad, Johnathan Adair, and uncle, Enrique Polanco, Jr.
