Sauls, Arnice Douglas

SKIPPERVILLE ? Mr. Arnice Douglas Sauls, age 63, of Skipperville, died Friday morning, April 24, 2009, in UAB Medical Center in Birmingham.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Monday, April 27, 2009, at Rocky Head Baptist Church with the Rev. John Boss officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. His body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time on Monday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 until 5 p.m. today.

Mr. Sauls was born June 8, 1945 to the late Arnice and Leaona Whiddon Sauls. He lived in Ocoee, Fla. for 45 years. Following his retirement he returned to Dale County.

Survivors include his wife, Mavis Linzey Sauls; two daughters and one son-in-law, Angel and Tony Johnson, and April Stone, all of Skipperville; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Elizabeth Miller of Ozark and Margie and Don Machen of Mesa, Ariz.; one brother and sister-in-law, William Edward and Judy Sauls of Ozark; four grandchildren, Samantha, Casandra, Tabitha, and Ryan.
