Now know all men by these presents that I Peter Winiger of the county
of Scott, state of Virginia, feeling the uncertainty of my living and
desire to settle my business do make this my last will and testament ,
after desiring to commit my soul into the care and keeping of my kind
and blessed Lord , I do will and leave my estate as follows ( to wit )
for the love and affection I feel for my wife , Julia , I do leave
unto her the following tract of land where I now reside containing two
hundred and fifty acres lying on Opossum Creek in the county of Scott
& state of Virginia ( _______ _____ _______ ? ) also all my stock
with all my farming utensels to make use of as I will leave them to
done with . The stock I direct among the ( rest ? ) of the children ,
also the waggon and ( ___ ___ ? ) .

For the love and affection I have for my four daughters I do ( ___ ___
? ) as single at present -- - namely Polly, Phoebe , Elizabeth & Julia
, to be given them as they stand in need of it of the property I left
to my wife, Julia , as she can conveniently spare without ( ____ ? )
herself from this place, i. e. each of them gets an equal part with my
daughter , Catherine Wininger , wife of John Wininger , the property I
gave my daughter is as follows , one horse worth thirty one dollars ,
also two cows , bed and furniture , ( ___ ____ ____ ? ) one oven, one
set of knives and forks , one set of plates and also five dollars and
fifty cents cash for which I hold ( ____?) receipt the above named
property and cash . And I do further leave unto my five daughters
after the death of my wife , Julia , to be equally divided all the
property such as stock and that left my wife , at her death amongst
the five girls.

Also for the love I have for my two sons Phillip and Stephan I give
them the tract of land they now live on , estimated to be worth seven
hundred dollars for which I executed a deed to each of them - - two
hundred and fifty dollars in cash & the other hundred in trade ( ____
_____ ? ) Also it was rated to them each of them at $350 .

Also for the love and affection I have for my two sons Andrew and
Peter I do give them after the death of their mother two hundred and
fifty acres of land where I now live , to be equally divided between
them, the tract I left my wife in her lifetime . Also I leave them out
of the property that is raised on such farm each of them a horse
creature worth fifty dollars .

I do further leave unto my two other sons for the love I feel for them
, William and David , equal parts with my other four sons namely
Phillip, Stephan, Andrew, and Peter . I do give the following tract of
land unto David and William, estimated at eighty dollars to be equally
divided between them , in Scott County , joining Devault on the one
side and Emma Pace on the other , containing seventy or eighty acres _
_ also leave it in my will that Phillip, Stephan, Andrew, and Peter to
pay each unto David and William out of the lands I left them so as to
make their parts equal to theirs they get land and property for which
I hold their receipt for the property they get .

Given under my hand this 16th day of Jany 1832 . I do appoint my wife
, Julia , and my son, Phillip , executors to my estate .
