Christopher Henry Jinks "Jinks" Bomar was born in Nebraska and died in Townsend, Broadwater Co., Montana. He was the son of William Henry Bomar (1860-1936) and Mary Frances (Swanger) Bomar (1865-1929). He was one of at least 21 kids. Like many of his siblings, he had multiple middle names.

He married Esther Cornelia Ricketts in 1912 in Rushville, Sheridan Co., Nebraska and had the following children: Mabel Mae, Thelma J., Calvin Kenneth, Harold Gilbert, Margaret E., Richard Paul, and Helen Flora Bomar.

His parents, wife, many of his children, and other family members are buried in the Radersburg Cemetery.
