"Clair Brubaker, 87, of 34 Stoney Run Village, Denver, died Friday afternoon in Denver Nursing Home following a brief illness. He had lived there for one week. He was the husband of Mazie E. Texter Brubaker of Denver. They observed their 64th anniversary in February. Born in Reinholds, he was a son of the late H. Lee and Ella Bard Brubaker.
He was employed by the former Berkshire Knitting Mills in Wyomissing for 25 years and later worked for Sweigart's Floor Covering in Reinholds for 20 years. He was last employed by Keystone Nitewear of Reinholds.
He was a member of Swamp Evangelical Lutheran Church in Reinholds and was a life member of Reinholds Fire Co.
Surviving are two daughters, Anna Mae, wife of Robert Hershey Jr., of Denver and Marion I., wife of John H. Bergman, of Reinholds; a son, Richard A., husband of Elizabeth Gottshall Brubaker, of Reinholds; a brother, Mark B. Brubaker of Neffsville; a sister, Kathryn Farlow of Hopeland; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren."
