Lorraine A. Westphalen, 68, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2009 at Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born June 16, 1940, daughter of the late Leo and Evangeline (Snortum) Schweitzer.
Lorraine married Allen A. Westphalen on October 3, 1959 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel. The couple was married for 49 years.
She is survived by her loving husband, Allen, residing at Willowdale Nursing Home, New Holstein; her children and their families, Brenda (Mark) Jasper of Carney, Michigan, Nicole Westphalen, Mark and John Jasper, Todd of Kiel, Tina (Matt) Salm and Ryan, Scott of Kiel, Sarah and Natalie, Ross (Lisa) of rural Valders, Julie (David) Meyer of rural Kiel, Derek, Jordan and Rachel, Kristie (Alan) Sheahan of rural Reedsville, Jeff (Girlie) of rural Kiel, Marchie and Rogie Ventura, Vanessa and Bryan, Brad (Amy) of Kiel, Melanie, Jacob and Emily, and Chad (fiancé Tammy Dessart) of Valders, Cassandra, Vanessa and Stephanie Nenahlo and Dylan Dessart. Also, step-great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Amahya. Sisters and brother-in-law, Romilda Heinen, Armella (Tom) Sabell, Evelyn Zeman, Harriet (Karl) Kappelman, Wilbur (Eleanor) Westphalen, Virginia (Donald) Dickrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Donald, mother and father-in-law, Roland and Theckla Westphalen and granddaughter, Amanda Meyer.
Burial is at Eaton Union Cemetery, Kiel.
