Margaret Vanderploeg, 85
Margaret Vanderploeg, 85 of Grand Rapids, a former Holland resident, died Monday, October 8, in St Mary's Hospital.
Mrs. Vanderploeg was born in North Holland and attended Holland High School. She and her husband, Jan B Vanderploeg, lived in North Muskegon from 1939-1979 when they moved to Grand Rapids.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Jane Deckoff of New York City, Gretchen Swibold of Canton, Conn, and Mildred Feldman of Baton Rouge, LA; 10 grandchildren and a sister, Lorraine Worden of Cadillac.
Family and friends are invited to an open house from 6 to 9 this evening at the Vanderploeg home, 547 Cherry S.E., Grand Rapids.
