Mrs. Lucy Amber, 73, Urbana, died at 8:10 p.m. Thursday in the Wabash County Hospital following a two weeks' illness.
A life resident of Wabash County and a member of Grace EUB Church, Urbana, Mrs. Amber was born Aug. 10, 1886 to John and Anne (Griffith) Brannan. She was married Feb. 3, 1907 to Jesse Amber, who died Nov. 1956.
Surviving are two sons, Merle Amber, Wabash R.R. 4, and Kenneth Amber, Wabash; a daughter, Mrs. John Caranna, Gulfport, Miss.; a sister Miss Frettia Brannan, Bisbee, N.D., and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Grace EUB Church with the Rev. C.E. Overmyer officiating. #Burial will be in Falls Cemetery. The body is at the Jones funeral Home where friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday. Callers will be received at the church from 11 a.m. Monday until the funeral hour.
