She was born in Rapid City, S.D., and moved to Portland in 1940. She lived in Portland until her illness in 1999, when she moved to Albany to be with family.
She married George L. Worlein in 1976. He died in 1978.
She was a medical transcriptionist for Kaiser Permanente in Portland.
She is survived by sister Joan Miner and numerous nieces and nephews.
