Doris H. BIGGS, 61, of 1303 Monroe St., died unexpectedly at her home early this morning. Mrs. Biggs was born June 16, 1919 to Levi and Cora DICKERHOFF HARPER. She had lived her entire life in this community. She was married Feb. 10, 1944 in Rochester to William D. BIGGS, who survives.
She was assistant vice president of the Farmers and Merchants Bank for 43 years. She was a member of the Rochester Trinity United Methodist Church, and treasurer of the Fulton County Humane Society.
Surviving with the husband are a son, David A. BIGGS, Rt. 6, Rochester; two grandsons, Douglas Aaron and Gregory David BIGGS; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche ENGLE, Warsaw; Mrs. Delta JURGENSMEYER, Rochester; and Mrs. Jack (Arletta) GREEN, Peru; several nieces and nephews. Her parents and a brother preceded in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Foster & Good Funeral Home with the Rev. Morris HOWELL officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call 3-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday from 9 a.m. until the services. Memorials other than flowers may be made to the American Heart Association or the Fulton County Humane Society.
