Michael Wayne Bass, 50, of Kennett, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Feb. 2, 1955, in Kennett, he was the son of Jessie Opal Brooks Bass and the late Athel Wayne Bass.
On Jan. 1, 1977, in Clarkton, Mo., he married Alice Marita Dunaway, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, William Wayne Bass and wife, Erin, of Piggott, Ark.; four daughters, Alicia Issac and husband, Leon, of Kennett, Felicia McArthur and husband, Dan, of Piggott, Crystal Ryans and husband, Paul, of Campbell, Mo., and Susan Crouch and husband, Lee, of Frisbee, Mo; his mother, Jessie Opal Bass, of Kennett; one brother, David Bass, of Mississippi; one sister, Cindy Davis, of Fulton, Miss., and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Leroy Thorton officiating.
Burial will follow at the Gregory Cemetery in Kennett.
Pallbearers were Leon Morgan, Neil Dover, Steve Scott, Chris Collins, Bill Ward and Shawn Barton.
Honorary pallbearer was David Ray.
