Sibling to George Victor Holeman, Treasure Evelyn Holeman, Louis Gene Holeman. All of these children were born Holeman, however, between 1930 and 1936 they dropped the Holeman name and went by "Hess" (Frank Sr's middle name) as did their parents. (Source: 1. He is my dad. 2. Served in World War II with the US Army Air Corp 73rd Fighter Squadron July 22, 1942 to October 2, 1945. Received the following medals and qualifications:

and Army Air Corp American Campaign 4 Bronze Stars

Children: Steven Lee Hess, Pamela Denise Hess, Victoria Rae Hess.
Frank's main work was as a chef but he was an experienced auto mechanic and also was an accomplished ice sculptor at the Laughlin Hotel in Laughlin, Nevada.
Fishing was a favorite past-time while he lived in and around the Bull Head City, Arizona area. Frank Hess, Jr suffered from lung cancer and died in Phoenix on December 15, 1987. Burial is in the National Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona.
He is greatly missed.
