Mrs. Henrietta C. Storm, 75, 2200 Vilas, died Saturday morning at St. John's Hospital. She had been in failing health the past several months. She was born March 15, 1901 in Leavenworth and was a daughter of Frank and Mary Ann O'Rourke DeTarr. At the Old Cathedral Church on June 30, 1931, she was married to Edward E. Storm and they owned and operated the Storm Drug Store 1945 to 1971. Mr. Storm died Feb. 15, 1976.
Mrs. Storm graduated from the St. Frances School of Nursing, Topeka, in the class of 1924. She was a member of the St. Joseph Carmelite Church, Third Order of Mt. Carmel, Daughters of Isabella, and a member of the Altar Society of the Church.
She is survived by one son, Dr. Thomas E. Storm, 25 Forest Lane, and two daughters, Mrs. Carol Ann Hoover, St. Louis, Mo., and Miss Sharon Marie Storm, 2200 Vilas. One sister, Sister Marianna DeTarr, Sisters of Charity, Leavenworth, and five grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Joseph's Carmelite Church. Memorials may be given to the St. John's Hospital or to Cushing Memorial Hospital. Masses may be given to the St. Joseph Carmelite Church. Rosary by the Daughters of Isabella will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday and a wake service at 8 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Chapel.
