Anton Bechle, 76, Eaton farmer died Saturday afternoon at the homestead farm now operated by his son, Anton Jr., following a several months' illness. Funeral services will be held Tuesday from the Meiselwitz funeral home in Kiel. Burial will be in the Kiel cemetery.
Mr. Bechle was born in Eaton in 1867 and in 1900 married Miss Bertha Wriedt and they located on the farm in Eaton. Mrs. Bechle died in 1938.
Survivors are a son, Anton Jr., of Eaton, daughter, Mrs. Henry Bornemann, of Kiel, two brothers, Joseph and Max of Elkhart Lake; and a grandson, Lloyd Bornemann of Kiel.
