Burton Collier.

Burton -Collier, died at the Fox Memorial
Hospital at Oneonta, of typhoid
fever, August 30th, after two weeks'
illness. He was thirty-seven years of
age. Mr. Collier was one of the rural
free delivery carriers from Laurens, and
was well known there. He leaves to
mourn his loss his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Edwin Collier of Morris, and one son
who resides with his grandparents.
Mr. Collier formerly lived a t Morris and
leaves many friends there as well as
a t Laurens.. The funeral was -held at
his iate home in Laurens, Sunday at
1 o'clock, the Rev. C Post officiating.
Burial at Morris. The Laurens F &
A. M. and Oneonta F. & A. M. .conducted
the service a t the grave.-Our Laurens Reporter

Burton Collier, brakesman on conductor of Ed Jones' trai, had the misfortune to get his hand caught between the bumpers while making up a train in the yard Tuesday evening, breaking the back bones of his right hand.
