Vern Davidson Dies At Wichita, Kansas
Was Head Freight Agent For the Santa Fe At Wichita.
A. [rchibald] B. [oyd] Davidson received word Monday morning of the sudden death of his brother, [Arthur] Vern Davidson, which occurred at his home at Wichita, Kas., about 5 o'clock that morning. Mr. Davidson was, at the time of his death, head freight agent of the Santa Fe at Wichita. He was a former resident of Bedford, a Spanish American War veteran and a member of Co. I, 51st Iowa Volunteers. He is survived by his wife, who was formerly Miss Mattie Kemery. No particulars have been received in Bedford at this writing, concerning the funeral arrangements. Mr. and Mrs. A. [rchibald] B. [oyd] Davidson [Lily May Haun] of Bedford and Mrs. Anna [Allcott] Kemery of Blockton, Mrs. Davidson's mother, left for Wichita, via Blockton.
