Mrs. Henry J. Bruns, 58, of 1018 Fremont St., Kiel, died Saturday night at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital following a month-long illness.

She was born at Millhome Aug. 8, 1901, a daughter of the late Adam and Lisetta Feldmann Bub. The former Mabel Ann Bub she was married to Henry Bruns June 24, 1924. The couple lived in Sheboygan for several years and then moved to Kiel where they have lived since.

She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed Church, the G.U.G. Germania Society of Kiel, the City Park Board, the board of directors of the Kiel Garden Club and the Kasper-Beckley-Wilkens American Legion Post Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Lisetta) Borreson of Houston, Tex.; three sons, Russell of Norfolk, Va., Franklin of Milwaukee and Dr. Romaine Bruns of Boston, Mass.; three grandchildren; a brother, Roland Bub, of Sheboygan, and two sisters, Mrs. Otto Dux, Neillsville and Mrs. Ferdinand Kuester of Milwaukee.
Four brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday. In the absence of the Rev. Vernon E. Jaberg, pastor, the Rev. Charles J. Koch, pastor of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church, New Holstein, will officiate. Burial will be in the Kiel Cemetery.
