CANTON - Services for Billy Jack Knowles, 73, Canton, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Eubank Funeral Home chapel, Canton, with Bro. Steve Glosup officiating.
Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery, Canton.
Mr. Knowles died Aug. 4, 2008, in Tyler.
He was born Feb. 9, 1935, in Tundra community to the late Elmer Jackson and Merle Beatrice Blue Knowles. He was a farmer and member of Jackson Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Jacky Ray Knowles.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Melva Knowles, Canton; sons, Billy Knowles, Bobby Knowles and Robert Knowles, all of Canton; daughters, Denise Phillips and Paula Dooley, both of Canton; sisters, Pat Foster, Kemp, and Becky Wallace, Canton; brothers, Douglas Mack Knowles, Overton, and Charles Knowles, Temple; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
