Steve graduated from Wm. Henry Harrison High School (Evansville, IN) in 1976. He owned Sport World Co-op and was secretary of Kwik Liquor. He attended Forest Bills Baptist Church and was a member of the NRA and Evansville Outboard Boat Club. He enjoyed drag racing. Steve died at Vanderbilt University after an illness. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Amanda and Brittany; father & stepmother, Dan & shelby Rhoades; mother, Mamie P. Leggett; brother, Greg Rhoades; stepsister, Angela Childers; and stepbrother, Christopher Wright.
