Vincent Edward Atutis, 76, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 25, 2009.
Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to Ameritec Kidney Center, 1600 Central Drive, Suite 130 Bedford, Texas 76022, in care of Patient Care.
Vince was born Jan. 24, 1933, in Little Falls, N.Y. He grew up on a family farm called Top Notch Farms. Vince graduated from Little Falls High School. He became a farm program director of WLFH radio station prior to his draft into the U.S. Army. On Nov. 14, 1959, he married Beverly who became his faithful wife and companion for 49 years.
His appreciation for God, agriculture, economics, sales and speech enabled him to be a visionary person who was committed to making a better world. He had a brilliant mind, a steady focus and a humorous mindset. He could make people laugh during stressful times. He loved dancing, talking to people and managed to have a positive outlook on life no matter what came his way. He never complained and held tight to his dream.
