Samuel C. McAllister, a well known resident of Sharptown, died suddenly at the home of his brother, Stephen McAllister, on Sunday, August 20th. Though he had suffered for years from a chronic illness, his death was unexpected and was a shock to his many friends and relatives. The late Mr. McAllister was a bachelor and was 62 years of age. Funeral services were held yesterday morning at 10:30 o'clock in the Sharptown M.E. Church, with internment in Sharptown Cemetery.
