Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia Annie Penuel, 87, of 2601 Westside Avenue, who died yesterday in Midstate Baptist Hospital, will be held today at 3 P.M. at Johnson and Charlton Funeral Home.
James A. Allen will officiate and burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Daughter of Frances and George Peal, Mrs. Penuel was born in Una, Tennessee and attended Fanning's College where she subsequently taught for a year. She made her home in Nashville following her marriage to T.L. Penuel, a furniture dealer.
Following his death 53 years ago, she became associated with Tinsley's Millinery Company, now Tinsley's Inc., as principal stockholder and buyer.
Mrs. Penuel was a member of Highland Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include her Aunt, Mrs. Lura Young of Nashville, and a number of nieces and nephews.
