Marvin Calvin Roach (78 years old) born to John Emmit and Mary Roach on April 7, 1931 in Vernonia, Oregon.

He passed away peacefully at Kaweah Delta Hospital in Visalia after a long illness.

When Marvin was only a few months old, when his family returned to Ozark, Arkansas, where he grew up.

At 21 years old his family moved to Orange Cove.

On July 10, 1953 he married Myrtle Smith of Farmersville at the Farmersville Free Will Baptist Church, where they still attend.

Marvin worked for Kaweah Lemon Company until returning to Arkansas for about a year before returning to settle in Farmersville.

He worked in construction for Boland Construction and Fairway Construction.

He worked for the city of Farmersville for 17 years before retiring for health reasons.

He is survived by his wife Myrtle Roach of Farmersville; two daughters, Lana Roach and Rhonda Bayne, both of Farmersville; son-in-law, Randall Bayne of Farmersville; two granddaughters, Amanda Carnes of Fresno and Deanna Bayne of Farmersville; a sister, Opal Terry of Visalia; numerous nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by his parents, two brothers, Raymond and Arlis Roach of Ozark, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 5, at Evans Miller Guinn Exeter Chapel between 2pm & 6pm.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday may 6 at the Exeter Public Cemetery District at 10 am.
