Vi was very pretty, tall, with dark hair and big cheeks. She was a nice person, hospitable. In middle age she was bitten by a hound dog and they thought she had rabies. They gave her the shots for it, but afterwards, she couldn't walk right, and her sister Belinda would take care of her.
Vi had four children, Larry, June, Maureen and Roy. Larry married Peggy and both were killed by a drunk driver around 1947, when they were in their early twenties. They had two babies in the backseat and were going on vacation, when a telephone service truck crashed into them. The kids lived.
