Wanda Ruth Waller Allen, age 51, of Holladay, TN was born to the late Curtis Waller and Vada Gilliam Waller of Adamsville, TN.

Mrs. Allen had a B.A. in English, B.A. in History, and a Masters Degree in History. She taught for twenty-six years in the Benton County School system at Briarwood and later at Camden Central High School. She was adjunct Professor for the University of Tennessee at Martin, teaching history classes locally. She was a member of the board of directors for the Regional Reelfoot Library Board. She was the co-founder of the Camden Lioness Club. She was the State Social Studies teacher of the year. She also founded and sponsored the Veterans Recognition Program at Camden Central High School for Veterans in Benton County. She was president of the Cumberland Presbyterian Women's Unity Circle.

Survivors include her husband, Ricky Allen of Holladay, TN; son, Tyler Allen of Holladay, TN; mother, Vada Gilliam Waller of Adamsville, TN; brother, Allan Waller of Adamsville, TN; two nieces, April Stults, Autum Waller; nephew: Ian Nicholas Allen.
