Mr Daniel Parker a native of this county and for years past a resident of Charleston, where he was engaged in the commission business died at Mansfield plantation last Wednesday of consumption. The funeral services where held in the Episcopal Church at this place on Friday at 1 pm. Mr Parker's death was marked by circumstances of the most mournful description. Hardly more than a year ago he married a beautiful and accomplished lady. At this death bed stood also his aged and widowed mother who but a few days previously had seen the eyes of a beloved daughter close in their last sleep. Mr. Parker was a gentleman of fine business talent and his polished manners and high toned character had won for him profound admiration and sincere esteem from all who knew him. He did in the prime of a vigorous manhood. To his bereaved family we extend our deepest condolence.
