Death of Mrs. S. T. Atkinson
Mrs. Samuel T. Atkinson a former resident of Georgetown died at Shelbyville, Tenn, last Saturday, the 21st inst. She was staying with her daughter, Miss Mary J. Atkinson, at the time of her death. The remains were brought here, arriving last Tuesday night and interred in the family lot in the Episcopal church at noon on Wednesday. Dean Rotbottom reading the commitment service of the Episcopal church. Mrs. Atkinson leaves two daughters, Miss Mary Atkinson, who lives in Shelbyville Tenn, and Mrs. W. C. Lloyd who resides in Philadelphia, besides relatives who live in McClellanville, and a large circle of friends in Georgetown. The following were the pall bearers: Col. S. M. Ward, J. B. Steele, H. Kaminski, H. W. Fraser, J. I. Hazzard, Joseph Schenk, W. W. Munnerlyn and W. D. Morgan.
