E. H. Flagg Dies at 80 of Heart Attack
Edmund Howard Flagg, 80, of Falls Church, Va., was fatally stricken with a heart attack on the stairway leading to the parking roof of Sears Roebuck at Wisconsin ave. and Albemarle st. nw., yesterday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:40 p. m. by a Gallinger Hospital staff doctor. His wife, Mrs. Blanche Flagg, and grandson, Charles Edwards, and the grandson's wife were shopping when Mr. Flagg was stricken, police said.
Born in Washington, Mr. Flagg spent most of his life in Falls Church. An employe of the Potomac Electric Power Co. for many years, he retired about 12 years ago.
Beside his wife and grandson, he leaves a son, Edmund A. Flagg, Falls Church.
