Soldier City items. December 16, 1880. The people of Soldier and surrounding vicinity were called on last week to part with one of their beloved friends, Mrs. Alfred Johnson, who died December 10th, at 3 o'clock a.m. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Hibbard, at the church. Then the people followed her remains to their last resting place, the Soldier cemetery. The bereaved husband and relatives have the sympathy of all.
