Ima Jean (Cozens), 81, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 3, 2009 after an auto accident. She was born Dec. 28, 1927 to James and Mowatte Browning in Healdton, OK.

Ima is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Floyd Cozens; one son, Larry Cozens; two grandchildren; her second husband, Herman Bandy; three brothers and one sister.

Ima & Herman Bandy were married 10/19/1987 in Paris, Lamar County, Texas.

She is survived by one son, Gary Cozens and wife Thelma of Mustang, OK one sister, Laura Mashore of Moore, OK one brother, Ray Browning and wife Vera of Dibble, OK 5 grandchildren 9 great grandchildren many loving nieces and nephews and an extended family in California and Oklahoma which she loved as her own.

Ima was an active member of Southwest Baptist Church where she had countless friends and loved them all. She had a passion for visiting the shut-ins. Ima loved people and never met a stranger. She will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Southwest Baptist Church, 1300 SW 54, with burial at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Norman, OK.

Viewing will be today at the funeral home from 4-8PM, with family greeting friends from 6-8PM. Friends may leave condolences at www.vondel smithmortuary.com
