David was the son of David Fruit and Sarah (Pratt) Noble. He was born in 1841 in Wayne County, Indiana.
David Daniel Noble was named after both his father, David Fruit Noble and his grandfather, Daniel Fry Noble. But not completely sure if his given name was Daniel David or David Daniel, it simply says "David" on his tombstone. (NOTE: Daniel Fry Noble's father was also named David)
David D. Noble married Eliza J. Hampton on 3/2/1868 in Muscatine, Iowa.
CHILDREN OF DAVID D. & ELIZA NOBLE
Ora b.1867, d.1889; John b.1868, d.1934; Henry b.1870. d.1934; Charles J. b.1872, d.1915; Edmund Harold b.1876, d.1944 and David F. b.1882, d.1935. It's possible there may have been at least two additional children that died in infancy as well.
David and Eliza are buried in Eliza Creek Cemetery. Both the Eliza Creek Cemetery and the old Union School House are located on the old Noble Homestead, just east of where Daniel built a home in 1881. The Union School was the first schoolhouse in the township. (The picture of David and Eliza's Tombstone shows the old school in the back ground, still standing today).
