Lena was the d/o William P Freeze and Eliza Deboard.

According to family legend, Joseph Snyder went on a hunting trip to West Virginia and brought home a bride. Joseph and Lena were married on February 18, 1920 in Martinsburg, Berkeley Co., West Va. Lena left Joseph with 2 daughters in the 1920's and allegedly ran off with Elmo Tanner, a whistler in the Ted Weems Band. Joseph filed suit for divorce in the Summit County, Ohio Court but it was never completed. She was never heard from since she left.
