Wilmer was the husband of Viola Christianson and they share the same stone.



West Valders Cemetery is located in the Town of Liberty at the southeast corner of the junction of Marken, English Lake Road and Highway 151. The main entrance fronts on Highway 151. This cemetery is also one of the oldest of three cemeteries belonging to the Faith Lutheran Church of Valders.



WILMER CHRISTIANSON

Wilmer Christianson, 69, of Valders, died Thursday morning at home
following an unexpected heart attack.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Faith Lutheran Church (west),
Valders, the Rev. Robert Ankka officiating. Burial will be in the church
cemetery.
Mr. Christianson was born Feb. 11, 1895, son of the late Severin and Anna
Anderson Christianson. He was a barber at Valders, then worked at Valders
Oil Co. for more than 20 years, Manitowoc Engineering Co. several years
and Manitowoc Equipment Works, retiring from the last-named in 1960. He
married the former Viola Johnston July 18, 1917, at Faith Church (West).
He was a former trustee on the Valders village board and former deacon,
trustee, and treasurer of Faith church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Anna Grace) Meinken
of Garden City, L.I., N.Y., and Mrs. Orvin (Ora Mae) Ellestad of Manitowoc;
a brother, Walter Christianson of Reedsville; two sisters, Mrs. Olga
Torrison and Mrs. G. K. Berge of Valders; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Saturday and until 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Farley
Funeral Home, Valders, and from noon Sunday until the hour of services at the
church.
