Mary Delphene "Della" Hayden Crabtree was born on April 24, 1832, in Nelson County, Kentucky. Her father Wilford Lewis Hayden, was 35 and her mother Mary "Polly" Dant Hayden, was 37. She married Alfred Green Crabtree1816-1871, on July 10, 1854, in Daviess County, Kentucky. Alfred was a widower eight children-his first wife was Narcissa Kennedy Crabtree 1817-1854. Della's step children are William Green Crabtree 1837-1911, Thomas Abraham Crabtree 1839-1912, James Crabtree 1841-1914, John P Crabtree 1844-, Sarah J Crabtree 1849-1880, Frances Cordelia Crabtree 1852-1932 and Robert Crabtree 1853-1870. Alfred and Della's children are had five children, C.A. Crabtree 1855-1855, Narcissa Crabtree 1857-1944, Alfred C. Crabtree 1859-1895, Lucy Crabtree 1861-1941, Tricia Ann Crabtree 1863-1900, Susan E Crabtree Simmons 1867-1939 during their marriage. She died on March 22, 1928, at the age of 95.

FUNERAL OF MRS. CRABTREE
The funeral of Mrs. Delia Crabtree, 98 years old, who died at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Tillie Whalen, at St. Joseph Wednesday afternoon, was conducted from St. Alphonsus Catholic church at 9 o'clock yesterday morning with services by Rev. Father Joseph Deimert. Interment was in the church cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. Delia Crabtree, 98 years old, who died at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Tillie Whalen, at St. Joseph Wednesday afternoon, was conducted from St. Alphonsus Catholic church at 9 o'clock yesterday morning with services by Rev. Father Joseph Deimert. Interment was in the church cemetery.
