Funeral services for Mrs. Lula C. McHenry, 83, 3608 Richmond St., Monroe, were to be at 4 p.m. today in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Monroe with the Rev. Joe Mongle officiating.

Burial was to be in Crowville Masonic Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Floyd McHenry of Crystal Springs, Miss., and Ross McHenry of Delhi; three daughters, Misses Louise McHenry, Leah McHenry, both of Monroe, and Mrs. Doris Holloway of Sterlington; a sister, Mrs. Clara Belle Welch of Monterey; 25 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Among grandchildren is Allen McHenry, sports writer of the Morning World.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
