Alice E. Adams, 91, of Latrobe, died Monday, Sept. 2, 2002, in the Donahue Manor Nursing Home, Bedford.
She was born March 26, 1911, in New Florence, a daughter of John and Laura Tranquilla.

She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Latrobe, the Bienvieu Circle, the Bereans, Bethany Golden Agers and the Latrobe Historical Society.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy W.; two brothers, Edward and Paul; and five sisters, Virginia Pavone, Vinnie Heming, Rose McClain, Florence Fiorini and Dorothy Butler.

Surviving are two daughters, Janet Thomas, Port Vue, and Marjorie Decker, Bedford; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gladys Fiorini, Loyalhanna, and Edna Blumeier, of Amherst, Ohio; nieces and nephews.

Service was held Thursday in Christ United Church of Christ, Rev. Wayne D. Sautter, officiating.

Interment followed in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township.
