She grew up in Woodville and attended school in Shelley. On Oct. 9, 1977, she married Gene Converse at Reno, Nev. They lived in Blackfoot and Chubbuck. At the time of her death she was employed by South-eastern District of the state Health Department. She was a member of the LDS Church.
She is survived by her husband, Gene, Chubbuck; a stepdaughter, Candice Converse of Chubbuck; stepsons Ricky, Rodney and Terry Converse all of Pocatello; a sister Lorraine Stamper of Cody, Wyo.; a brother Edward Fowler of Shelley; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Glen Fowler of Woodville; and three stepchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald. Also killed in the accident were her daughter, Krista Converse, and her son, Steven Stoddard.
