Velda L. (Crank) Hodge, 79, passed away on April 28, 2009 in Lacon, Illinois.
She was born February 8, 1928 in Lacon to the late Walter W. and Marien (Loser) Crank. She married Donald Hodge on March 23, 1951, in Lacon. He preceded her in death April 20, 2009.
She also was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Appel.
She is survived by one daughter, Julie (Dennis) Herridge.
Velda had been employed at the Lacon Woolen Mill as Marshall County police matron, sales clerk at Pipers Drug Store and last drove the special education bus for the Mid-County School District.
Burial will be in Lacon Cemetery.
