Jerome (Jerry) Robert Smith, 85, of Sheboygan, passed away Tuesday, May 05, 2009, at Golden Living Center in Sheboygan.
Jerry was born October 6, 1923 in Green Bay, to the late George and Helen (Skovera) Smith.
He graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1941. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1941 until 1945.
On August 7, 1948, he married Theresa Blazek. Together the couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary August 7, 2008.
In addition to Terry, his wife of 60 years, he is survived by his daughters, Nancy Oostdyke, Amy Heyman, and Barb Schuette of Sheboygan. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Anna Andersen and Arik Schuette.
He was preceded in death by his brother, George Smith.
