Harry was the son of William H. and Harriet Anna Gump Ray, born on April 16, 1901, in Garrett, Indiana. He had five brothers, Otis, James, Forrest, Franklin Dale, and Bernard, and three sisters, Carolyn, Lillian, and Margaret.

Harry married Anna Krick (?) in 1926, and they moved to the Milford area about 13 years later. Mr. Ray worked at Liberty Coach in Syracuse until his retirement a few years ago. He died Wednesday, Oct. 22, while at Afran nursing home in Warsaw at the age of 68 years.

Mourners include his son Raymond; daughter Mrs. Paul (Leona) Bechtel of Elkhart; two brothers, Franklin Dale and Bernard; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Brown and Mrs. Howard H. (Margaret) Smith; and numerous friends.
