June 20, 1912 she was united in marriage with Herman H. Beisner and to this union 8 children were born; Neva of Lincoln, Roy, Eileen, Louise, Rosalie, Norine and Albert
of Davenport, one child died in infancy.
Besides her husband and children she leaves to mourn her departure her aged father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Hendershot of Hebron; eight brothers, John of Oak, Ray and Dewey of Basset, Pash and Frank of Hebron, Robert of South Dakota, James of Oregon, Charlie of Tulsa, Okla, and two sisters, Mrs. Nettie McConnell of Oregon and Mrs. Lizzie Sharrock of Lindle, Wyo.
In early girl-hood she united with the Christian Church of Hebron and after moving to a farm near Davenport transferred her membership to Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Davenport.
Mrs. Beisner was a devoted wife and mother and a patient sufferer for several years. Realizing that the end was near, her heart was saddened because she was called to leave her family of small children.
"To our loved one whose heart grew so heavy,
Came the summons of blessed release.
And she passed through life's mythical portal
To a world of infinite peace.
And Jesus in tender compassion
Through the ministering comfort of friends,
Has shown us his love in unfailing
To strengthen, to guide and defend."
Funeral services were held in the Lutheran Church in Davenport Sunday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. Hershey in charge.
Interment was made in the Hebron Cemetery.
CARD OF THANKS
Under existing circumstances, I take this means of expressing my heartfelt appreciation for the services rendered and kindness extended during the illness, death and burial of our beloved wife and mother Florence Marie Beisner. To Rev. Hershey for his comforting words spoken, to the singers for their beautiful selections rendered and to my friends who acted as pall bearers.
Mr. H. H. Beisner and family.
