Surviving are one son, Dean Blackwell of Bedford, IN; one half-brother, Dale Deckard of Bedford, IN; one grandson, and two great-grandchildren.
SHe was retired from Ralph Rogers Co. and had worked as a custodian at the vocational school.
Funeral services for Birtle Blackwell will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 22nd, at the Day & Carter Mortuary Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
