At Leonardsville, N. Y., March 5, 1862, of Paralysis, Jabish Brown, aged 56 years. The subject of this notice has been, for a number of years, a member of the 1st Seventh-day Baptist church of Brookfield; and, though for many years afflicted with a disease that affected mind as well as body, his conceptions of the value and importance of religion remained clear and full, and his interest in the cause of his Redeemer unabated to the last. He leaves a wife and an interesting family of children to mourn the loss of a devoted husband and father.
